Why Photography?

My love for photography began in the fine arts. During my freshman year at Williams College, I took an intro photo class to fill out my schedule. Unexpectedly, it wasn’t long before I was head over heels. From days in the photo studio shooting to long nights editing, I loved the art of photography.

I quickly began to be recognized for my work as I was selected for galleries, publications, and awards. Despite my packed schedule as a Bio Pre-Med student, I still continued to fit photography in anywhere I could.

Upon graduation, looking for a way to continue the craft, Gold Standard Photography was born. Both a reference to my last name (Goldberg) and an ode to the level of service that I strive to provide, Gold Standard is my pride and joy. Being able to use my creative eye to capture the most important day in couples’ lives together is the highest honor.
